2010 Arizona Police and Fire Games

2010 Work Hard…Play Harder

2010 "WORK HARD... PLAY HARDER!" marked the 31st Anniversary of the Arizona Police and Fire Games and my first year as the games director. Hopefully everyone had fun and is planning to return for 2010. Although the 2009 games were a great success that isn't going to stop me from trying to improve the games for 2010. Myself and the board are already working on bringing even more to the 2010 games. Last year we raised $5000 for 88- Crime with our raffle. Next year's charity will be The Tucson Police Athletic League (PAL) and we are in the process of securing some more great raffle prizes, so keep checking the web site for details. Every year I have been involved with the games I have heard one consistent complaint, " Why are the games held during Easter weekend?" For 2010 your voices have been heard and the games will be held May 5-8, 2010. We will start the games off hosting a Cinco de Mayo opening social (so bring your patches/pins and coins to trade). We will also have social hours Thursday and Friday night at the host hotel. The host hotel (Holiday Inn) will remain the same as will the room rate. Also, we have secured Golf Links Park for Soccer, Softball and Football again so most venues will be close. So mark your calendars to "Work Hard.Play Harder" at the 2010 Arizona Police and Fire Games in Sunny Tucson, Arizona. As always, be safe out there and we will see you in Tucson next May.

Eligibility, Fees, and Applications

If you are eligible for the 2010 Arizona Police & Fire Games, ensure you register by filling out the Application Form to include the General Release of Liability and the Team Roster (if applicable). Mail these in along with the associated Fees. Click here for Policies and Procedures.
