Can you Compete?

Eligibility


To be eligible to compete in the Arizona Police and Fire Games as a Public Safety employee, you must have been employed full time by an authorized Police or Fire Agency for a period of 180 days prior to the starting date of the Police and Fire Games.

This includes any Law Enforcement Agency listed in the National Directory of Law Enforcement Administrators Manual and any non-private government subsidized Fire Agency. Military Police, Federal or State certified Corrections Officers, Customs and Immigrations employees, and certified Reserves of all Public Safety Agencies are qualified. Civilian full time employees of all authorized Public Safety Agencies and retirees of all authorized Public Safety Agencies are eligible.

Offspring of eligible competitors that are at least 21 years of age prior to the starting date of the Games and parents of eligible competitors are authorized to compete as of the 2009 Games.
